Event Details:

Learn the technique of basic bead stringing using glass beads and an Indigenous hairpipe bead. This is an activity suitable for those who like working with their hands and creating something unique and special. Naomi Smith will demonstrate and share stories about the history and intrigue of bead stringing, and discuss what the materials and meanings are from an Indigenous perspective.

Workshop materials will be available for pickup at the Georgetown Branch of the Halton Hills Public Library starting Wednesday, October 20, 2021.
